Ysgol Llanbedr DC / Llanbedr DC School

 As the Deputy Head teacher at Ysgol Llanbedr for many years, I know our school and community very well indeed.
My particular responsibility is for the Foundation Phase, although during my time here its predecessors have also been known as 'The Infants' and 'Key Stage One'!
During the last 2 years we have implemented the new Foundation Phase curriculum whole heartedly. This now provides an exciting environment in which our youngest pupils can thrive and develop to their full potential. To enhance provision we have a Nursery Nurse, Mrs Martin (NNEB), and a Teaching Support Assistant, Mrs Hewitt, with us throughout the day. We work closely together to ensure that we offer a stimulating, relevant, and well balanced provision for all our youngest pupils.
