Hello and welcome to the spring term of 2010. Friday 5th Feb 2010 - Cheese and wine evening hosted by Mary RobertsWednesday 17th Feb 2010 - Sponsored Give It Up / Do Something Helpful for LentFriday 19th March 2010 - Easter afternoon teas and craft We are looking for ideas for text terms events all ideas are welcome. Cheese and wine eveningMary Roberts has kindly agreed to host this event at her home in Llanbedr on Friday 5th February. Phoenix cards and Avon Products will be available but this is aimed at being a social evening, so please bring a bottle. For directions see Mary or the PTA. Sponsored give it up / do something helpfulAim of the sponsored event is for children, staff and Governors to give something up for lent or where more applicable for a week e.g. TV, computer games or to do something for the period e.g. make the beds, do the washing up, tidy my room. We will gift aid the money from the sponsors to try and boost the funds. This is specifically for the new garage to replace the old and tatty storage sheds. Forms will be sent home with the children nearer the time. Easter afternoon tea and craft To be held at the Llanbedr Village Hall after school with the community invited to join in. Crafts will include making an Easter Bonnet, Easter Cards, craft and flower stalls. While the children are creative you can enjoy an afternoon tea with hot cross bun. Finally if anyone requires a school calendar complete with term dates we still have some left.
