First Week Back
We have started a nwe lunch-time arrangement with older pupils now helping the younger ones to "Eat up!" This has worked really well:
Having been a traditional school house, in the early 1800s, Ysgol Llanbedr has a wealth of original detail which is of historical and architectural interest. Over the years various alterations and additions have been made so that we can more easily cater for the needs of the community.
The original building houses the Foundation Phase in a very large, light and airy classroom. This room was given a face-lift last year with new furniture and new flooring: an extension was also recently added forming a delightful carpeted area where the whole class can gather together.

Our school is in the enviable position of being less than a mile off one of the main commuter routes to Mold and Chester, whilst at the same time having virtually no neighbours, so we feel in the middle of the countryside. We also boast a dedicated, off-road car-park where parents and younger siblings can wait safely at the end of the day whilst chatting and catching up on the news.
We are justifiably proud of our grounds which comprise a football pitch, willow sculpture, all-w eather pitch, a very popular garden with vegetable patch and also a quiet, 'Buddy' area.
The area immediately around the school has a hard surface so is used all year round: this area has a netball court and Outdoor classroom area as well as picnic benches.
